PPE

This is a reminder that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory when completing all Tradeaze collections and deliveries.

As an independent contractor, you have free access to the Tradeaze Job Board and can choose the deliveries that work best for you. To make sure you can collect from our merchant partners and access delivery sites without issue, it’s important that you have the right PPE with you at all times.

The minimum PPE for delivering with Tradeaze includes:

• 🦺 High-visibility vest (orange)
• 🥾 Steel toe-capped safety boots
• 🧤 Protective gloves
• ⛑️ Hard hat – strongly recommended depending on site rules
• 👓 Safety goggles – optional, site-specific

We’ve had direct feedback from our merchant partners that PPE is a mandatory requirement at their collection points and delivery locations. In response, Tradeaze enforces PPE compliance to ensure all drivers meet site access rules and keep jobs running smoothly. Please note that drivers reported for not wearing the correct PPE will receive a warning or potentially removed from the platform.

Having the correct equipment is essential to ensure smooth and compliant Collections and Deliveries. Drivers who fail to wear the required PPE may be denied site access, leading to delayed or cancelled deliveries. Please note: driver accounts will be deactivated if collections and deliveries are cancelled due to PPE non-compliance.
