Do I need my own vehicle?

Yes, all Tradeaze drivers must provide their own vehicle. We currently onboard drivers with the following:

• Motorcycles/Scooters
• Cars
• Vans (all sizes)
• Flatbeds
• Luton Vans

All vehicles must be registered on your profile and meet our safety requirements.

How do I measure my vehicle's loading area?

To ensure we assign the right goods to your vehicle, please provide the length, width, and height of your loading area in meters (m).

Important measuring tips

• Vans: When measuring width, please provide the distance between the wheel arches.
• Accuracy: Always measure the internal usable space, not the exterior of the vehicle. Do NOT measure the length by going from the floor, to the back door. Measure from the back of the cab (at the smallest point) to the back door.

How do I measure my vehicle’s weight capacity?

To make sure you’re matched with the right delivery jobs, we need accurate details about your vehicle’s Payload Weight. This is the maximum weight a vehicle can safely carry, including passengers, cargo, and any added equipment.

You can find this information in one of the following ways:

• Check your owner’s manual for the max loading capacity weight. Most manuals list the payload capacity in the “Specifications” section.
• Calculate it yourself: Subtract the vehicle’s curb weight from its Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) to determine the maximum payload capacity.

Can I add multiple vehicles?

Yes, you can add new vehicles to your profile under the ‘My Vehicles’ section in the app. Please note, for every additional vehicle you add please send us the Hire & Reward insurance document via email or in-app chat.

I have a fleet of drivers and vehicles, can I join the platform?

Absolutely! We have a feature called Driver Teams, meaning you can add your whole fleet and manage deliveries directly from the Tradeaze Driver app. Get in touch with the team via our in-app driver chat to find out more information.

Live tracking and vehicle usage

While you are clocked in to the Tradeaze app, your live location will be tracked to provide ETA’s to customers and to optimise job acceptance.
